Jody was laid off after working 10+ years in the design and home construction industry. As the primary provider for her family, she was under a lot of emotional and financial stress. She collected public assistance benefits and used the temporary period of unemployment to pursue her true passion – professional coaching. Jody applied for a scholarship to attend a reputable certificate program at UC Davis. She excelled in her classes and earned the “Professional Coaching for Life and Work” certification in record time. Jody’s long-term plan includes launching a private practice. For now, Jody is building her brand and acquiring clients. She accepted a position as an Inspiration Gallery Manager. This job offers the flexibility to have a steady income while she expands her side hustle.
