After years of being a stay-at-home mother, Kelsey became a single parent. With no traditional work history and a sudden lack of income, she knew she needed to begin a career that would help her provide for herself and her two children. She got connected to Golden Sierra and, with the help of her case manager, qualified for a scholarship to cover the cost of her Medical Assistant program. Kelsey completed her classes with high grades and passed her AMCA certification exam. She was offered a job at the clinic where she completed her externship. Kelsey said, “Golden Sierra has helped me show my daughters that we can do anything we put our minds to. Without all of Golden Sierra’s help and support I don’t know if I could’ve done this all on my own. Thank you so much for supporting and helping me!”
