Clean Slate Clinic Coming to Placer County!

Location: Placer County Employment Services, 1000 Sunset Blvd Suite 100 Rocklin, CA
Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 – 9 am
Qualified Candidates
Eligible participants are those who:
- Are not on probation or have completed at least half of their probation term*
- Have paid all court-imposed fees and penalties
- To determine if any outstanding fees remain, participants can call the Revenue and Recover Services Department in the county of conviction
- Placer County Revenue Services: (916) 543-3900
- Sacramento County Revenue Recovery: (916) 875-7500
- El Dorado County Revenue Recovery: (530) 621-5780
- Have no pending charges.
* To qualify for Clean Slate remedies, individuals must have completed their full probation period but can appeal to have their remaining probation period waived if at least half of it has been completed. It is up to the judge to decide if the remaining probation period can be waived. The standard used is, “in the interest of justice” but it is not automatic.
Convictions that took place outside the state of California do not qualify for Clean Slate Remedies.
Convictions that included a prison sentence do not qualify for Clean Slate remedies, but individuals may still apply for a Certificate of Rehabilitation and a Governor’s Pardon through this program.
Clean Slate “expungement” does not restore the right to firearm possession.
