| Sacramento State is partnering with SAFE Credit Union to offer a series of free online financial wellness workshops designed for adult learners seeking to continue their education and add important financial skills. This is a set of 2 free workshop series, designed for alumni and adult learners throughout the community seeking to continue their education and add important financial skills.
Session 1: Retirement: Is it too early (or too late) to start planning? This workshop is intended to look at the big picture as it relates to your retirement planning. We will touch on understanding 401(k)s and IRAs, including Roth versus traditional, what are they and how do they work? – Tuesday, July 12, 12-1 p.m. Session 2: Non-Retirement Investing Basics: from apps to the stock market to crypto-currency – get to know the basics before jumping in! – Tuesday, July 19, 12-1 p.m.
