MICROSOFT OFFICE APPLICATIONS FOR THE WORKPLACE

This is a beginning, entry-level computer and software class with a focus on today’s common Office applications (word processing, spreadsheets, charting data, databases, and presentations). You will use current operating system (OS) software, manage files, use online tools, and transmit files via the internet. You will learn basic skills to build a strong foundation of computer hardware and software system concepts which are relevant and current to help you succeed personally and professionally at work.

This course requires students to complete assignments in and out of class, so please plan accordingly.

Your instructor will cover proper equipment usage in the class orientation.

Please enroll in and attend the Accounting, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Excel Orientation.

Students must have

• Windows 10/11 and MS Office 2019 installed and operational.
• Reliable internet to participate (Recommended: 1Mb/sec download or greater).
• An ability to view lectures and perform labs on a Windows computer, laptop, or tablet with a webcam and speakers.

Please Note that Chromebook and Apple devices are not recommended for this class.
