PLACER SCHOOL FOR ADULTS – INTRODUCTION TO MANUFACTURING
Free Class Register today! Class Dates February 2 – March 14, Thursdays, 5:30-7:30pm
This class is designed to explore different career pathways within the manufacturing sector.
Examples include sheet metal, welding, machining/CNC, plastics, and electronics.
Students will also be exposed to safety protocols and design work, including paper and pencil and Fusion 360.
Students will have online homework to gain experience with small projects, develop skills within the manufacturing industry, and document
their accomplishments. Field trips to school manufacturing facilities and Sierra College are included.
